Classes

Our Littles classes are tailored for our youngest members and are designed to be engaging and fun. They last half an hour and are best for kids aged 4, 5 and 6 years old.

Our Middles classes are also engaging and fun but start to introduce more of the curriculum level techniques. These last 45 minutes, and are suited to kids aged 7, 8 and 9.

Our classes for juniors (10, 11, and 12 years) and teenagers (13, 14, and 15 years) are suited to kids between 10 and 16 and lasts an hour. The curriculum for the juniors and teens classes has more detail than the middles classes, and is in fact similar to the adult curriculum, keeping age appropriateness in mind. Successful completion of the juniors/teens curriculum allows students to achieve the juvenile blue belt.

Our Adults Mixed Levels classes are suitable for all adult students, and some advanced juveniles including new students and beginners. They cover a variety of techniques from our curriculum, as well as exploration of intermediate and advanced level techniques.

Immediately following our Adult Jiu-Jitsu classes are our 30-minute sessions of rondori, i.e. free time for self directed learning, drilling or light flow rolling.

We also offer a Women’s Empowerment class. This class is only for women and follows our jiu jitsu curriculum in a non-confronting, non contesting, collaborative educational learning style. It is intended for women who want to learn about the sport your husbands or kids are doing, or want some confidence to empower you in your daily life

Our Competition team training is an extra-curricular class for those interested in pursuing the sport of jiu jitsu and competing on the national competition circuits.
